As for the cases themselves? The first day was an absolute shocker. I got hit - pretty hard in the nuts, to be honest - from the start. It did not help too that I knew the examiner, and the examiner remembered me (from my Sem8/9 days)..... I felt awful at the end of my 9-minute station - I think I've let my consultant down. =( The other four stations were just as bad too, but I guess it could have been much worse. At least I still remembered benign positional vertigo (BPV). And how to teach an asthmatic to use his MDI properly.
The second day was a nice change. The short cases we had were thankfully more straight-forward, and the examiners were really nice. A pleasant surprise! =)
Another three more days to go before long case exams, and already I'm left wondering how to prepare for this one. Well I could study EVERYTHING, since anything could potentially be a long case study....truth to be told however, I can't finish everything within three days, and I'm quite sick of revising already. =\
I wish I could end this entry on a more positive note, but given it's past 1am as I typed this.... it's obvious I need some sleep first. So I bid you goodnight - for now. =)
