How does one go about to please everyone? This is one heck of a task....
CSU practice session is one fine example. The fact that "too many cooks spoil the broth" (which unfortunately applies to aforesaid session) means that the groupings have to be small. Such inevitably means that choices have to be made, and that many of your friends would be left out. And how the heck can I go about and "prevent" that from happening? In the last two weeks I've join other CSU practice groups. By invitation from the organizers mind you. So I simply cannot invite other people into the groups anymore, UNLESS I have permission from the organizers themselves. And even if I do get their consent, I am (normally) limited to 1-2 invitations. No more than that.
That is when the icky bit comes in. Other friends start to wonder why they are not invited. Some might shrug it off, others get disappointed. Even angry at me to some extent.
Sigh.
Perhaps I need to have a good chat with friends and try to come up with a solution. Fast.
I hope they are willing to listen to me at least.
